US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said Monday the US government will extend a reprieve given to Huawei Technologies that permits the Chinese firm to buy supplies from US companies so that it can service existing customers, even as nearly 50 of its units were being added to a US economic blacklist.

US President Donald Trump on Sunday said he did not want the United States to do business with China's Huawei even as the administration weighs whether to extend a grace period for the company.

India and Bhutan have agreed to take the bilateral ties to new heights and take the cooperation beyond the hydro-power sector. The resolve came during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meetings with the Bhutanese leadership.
